Sit-Down OSHA Forklift Operator

Overview

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, move, and stage materials and products.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled safely and accurately.
• Transport pallets and materials throughout the warehouse or production area.
• Inspect the forklift before each shift and report any mechanical or safety issues.
• Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and proper forklift operating procedures.
• Verify product quantities, labels, and pallet conditions before moving materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping/receiving documentation as required.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when needed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, shipping/receiving personnel, and other departments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
