1st shift M-F 6am-2:30p
2nd shift M-TH 2:15pm -12:45a + shift differential
- Grind and blend weld joints to create a smooth, seamless look.
- Remove imperfections like burrs, sharp edges, rust, and scratches from metal surfaces.
- Select the correct tools and abrasives (like sandpaper or grinding wheels) for mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Apply specific finishes such as satin, grained, brushed, or mirror polishes.
- Inspect finished parts carefully to ensure they match blueprints and quality standards.
- Maintain equipment by cleaning and doing basic safety checks on your tools daily.
Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of metal finishing or polishing experience in a manufacturing shop.
- Punctuality to all assigned shifts
- Willingness to work overtime
- Eagerness to learn new skills
