What You’ll Do as an Industrial Sewer:
- Accurately sort, test, and route incoming electronic equipment, scrap, and computer components (e.g., RAM, hard drives, motherboards, GPUs, power supplies) based on condition, type, and material grade.
- Safely disassemble desktop computers, laptops, servers, and other electronic devices using manual and power tools to harvest re-usable parts or separate recyclable components.
- Inspect harvested parts for damage, test functional hardware, and record inventory or scrap weight accurately according to company guidelines.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workstation to ensure an efficient operational flow.
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Hands-on experience in electronics or computer components sorting
- Comfortable using tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and measuring devices
- Ability to read and understand blueprints or production instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
