Overview
The General Labor Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse, production, manufacturing, or yard operations by performing a variety of hands-on tasks. Duties may include loading and unloading materials, moving products, staging items, assembling components, organizing inventory, cleaning work areas, and assisting other departments as needed
Skills and Experience
- Previous general labor, warehouse, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- Experience with loading, unloading, staging, sorting, or moving materials is a plus
- Ability to use basic hand tools or equipment when properly trained
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to safety and workplace procedures
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to learn different job duties and assist in multiple areas
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Reliable transportation preferred
