Job Summary
We are currently hiring experienced Reach Truck Operators for a Temp-to-Hire opportunity in Chester, VA. The facility is a plastic manufacturing and production operation that produces plastic products through various manufacturing and distribution processes.
Reach Truck Operators play an important role in supporting daily operations by safely moving raw materials, finished products, and inventory throughout the facility. This position helps keep production and warehouse operations running efficiently by ensuring materials are properly staged, stored, and transported.
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a reach truck to move and position materials
- Transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
- Load, unload, stage, and organize materials
- Store products in designated warehouse locations
- Assist with moving materials to support production operations
- Maintain accurate product placement and inventory organization
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report any issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed
Skills and Experience
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of reach truck operating experience required
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate a reach truck in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
