Ōnin Staffing is hiring a Bulk Sewing Operator to join a fast-paced indoor manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do
As a Bulk Sewing Operator, you’ll operate industrial sewing equipment to join, gather, hem, and reinforce bags while ensuring each finished product meets quality standards.
- Set up sewing machines with thread, bobbins, and necessary sewing supplies
- Position materials correctly and operate industrial sewing equipment
- Control machine speed using foot pedals, knee levers, or hand controls
- Guide materials through the machine while following seams, edges, and specifications
- Inspect stitching and finished work for quality and defects
- Identify potential machine issues and notify the appropriate supervisor
- Select thread, binding, cord, piping, tape, and other materials according to specifications
- Maintain accuracy and quality throughout the production process
Skills and Experience

- Read and write at a basic level
- Perform basic math
- Follow instructions and production specifications
- Pay close attention to detail and product quality
- Work safely and efficiently in a production environment
- Be dependable and maintain consistent attendance

This position may require sitting, standing, walking, and lifting throughout the workday.
Work Environment
This is an indoor production/manufacturing position working with industrial sewing equipment.
