Overview
The Mold Setter is responsible for setting up, aligning, and securing molds used in the production of concrete or manufactured components. This role ensures molds are properly prepared, positioned, and maintained to support efficient production and high-quality finished products.
Key Responsibilities
Set, align, and secure molds according to production specifications
Inspect molds for damage, wear, or defects before use
Clean and prepare molds for production cycles
Assist with pouring, forming, and removing molded products
Use hand tools and basic equipment to adjust mold setups
Follow production schedules and supervisor instructions
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Skills and Experience
Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or mold setting preferred Ability to read measurements and follow technical instructions Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Work Environment Industrial or manufacturing facility Exposure to noise, heavy materials, and production equipment Requires standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks Summary This role is essential in ensuring molds are properly set and maintained to support smooth production operations and high-quality output.
