Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Wood Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling high-quality wood cabinet components while meeting production goals and maintaining strict quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, follows instructions well, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble wood cabinet components using hand and power tools.
- Read and follow work orders, assembly instructions, and production specifications.
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Measure, align, and secure components accurately.
- Operate woodworking equipment safely and efficiently.
- Install hardware and other cabinet components as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship.
- Report material defects, equipment issues, or safety concerns to management.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in other production areas as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in woodworking, cabinet assembly, manufacturing, or construction preferred, but not required.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and reach throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and changing temperatures.
