Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our Finished Goods Department. The ideal candidate will have experience operating stand-up forklifts and will be responsible for safely moving, organizing, and preparing finished goods for shipment while maintaining accuracy and following all safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up forklifts to move, stage, and store finished goods throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
- Receive and stock finished goods, ensuring inventory is accurately recorded.
- Scan box labels and verify product information.
- Perform quality checks and report any damaged or incorrect products.
- Complete shipping audits, including verifying counts and weights.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with warehouse inventory activities.
- Follow all safety procedures while operating warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work at heights of 30+ feet while operating equipment such as stand-up forklifts and cherry pickers.
Skills and Experience
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a stand-up forklift required.
- Steel toe shoes required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Clean background required.
- Ability to perform basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Experience in warehouse or material handling preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must be comfortable working at elevated heights.
