Maintenance Tooling Technician

Overview

Maintenance & Repair: Inspect, clean, assemble, and fix molds, dies, jigs, and fixtures to prevent production downtime.
Machining & Setup: Operate manual or machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders) and compute precise dimensions and tolerances.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues with equipment and formulate immediate or standardized solutions.
Collaboration: Work alongside design engineers and production staff to test completed tools and implement process improvements

Skills and Experience

Experience: 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience working in a tool room or fast-paced manufacturing environment. 
Technical Skills: Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs, plus proficiency with precision measuring instruments. 
Physical Requirements: Strong manual dexterity, capacity to stand or walk for long shifts (8–12 hours), and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
