Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Assembly Manager to lead our cabinet assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production, managing employees, ensuring quality standards, promoting workplace safety, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cabinet assembly operations to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, leads, and production employees.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Promote a safe work environment and ensure OSHA compliance.
- Coordinate with scheduling, materials, quality, maintenance, and shipping teams.
- Monitor production performance, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.
- Maintain production records and departmental performance metrics.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in manufacturing.
- Experience in cabinet, furniture, woodworking, or similar manufacturing is preferred.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
Skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of cabinet manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks safely in a manufacturing environment.
