Cabinet Assembly Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Assembly Manager to lead our cabinet assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production, managing employees, ensuring quality standards, promoting workplace safety, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cabinet assembly operations to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, leads, and production employees.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Promote a safe work environment and ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Coordinate with scheduling, materials, quality, maintenance, and shipping teams.
  • Monitor production performance, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.
  • Maintain production records and departmental performance metrics.

Skills and Experience

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience in cabinet, furniture, woodworking, or similar manufacturing is preferred.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of cabinet manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks safely in a manufacturing environment.
