Overview

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling electrical control panels, power distribution equipment, and related components according to blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to safely use hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment.

Job Duties:

  • Assemble electrical control panels and related components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
  • Use hand and power tools to install and secure parts.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform basic measurements using tape measures and other measuring tools.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality guidelines.
  • Work with team members to meet daily production goals.
  • Report defects, shortages, or equipment issues to the supervisor.
  • Assist with other production and assembly tasks as assigned.

Skills and Experience

1–2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply).
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment.
