What you'll do as a Production Crew Member / Welder:
- Perform MIG welding and structural fabrication on custom truck bodies and chassis components.
- Install and assemble truck accessories, drawers, cranes, and specialized equipment.
- Complete general labor and production tasks, including grinding, sanding, deburring, material handling, and surface preparation.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Build and customize commercial trucks from start to finish in a fast-paced production environment.
- Receive hands-on training to expand your welding and fabrication skills while growing your career.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Experience or a strong eagerness to learn new metal fabrication and MIG welding skills.
- A background in construction, woodworking, automotive mechanics, truck upfitting, assembly, general labor, or other skilled trades.
- Experience with body shop prep work, including sanding, grinding, and deburring metal parts.
- The ability to read and follow blueprints or custom build specifications.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure down to the fraction.
- A strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic hand, power, and shop tools.
- A team-oriented mindset and good communication skills with others.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus; Hablamos Español!
- The physical capability to frequently stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and repetitively carry up to 50 lbs.
