Location: Broussard, LA
Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Schedule

Monday–Friday
6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
One-hour lunch break
Overtime and occasional Saturdays available during busy periods

Job Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to manufacture precision parts
Machine and repair valves and other oilfield components
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
Perform routine machine maintenance
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company safety and quality standards

Skills and Experience

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

CNC machining in a manufacturing environment
Reading blueprints and technical drawings
Precision measuring tools including micrometers and calipers
Basic shop math and accurate measurements
Hand tools and machine setup
Industrial safety procedures

Preferred experience includes:

Mazak or Mazatrol controls
Program editing and machine offsets
Tool setup and insert changes
Threading and grooving operations
Quality control and inspection processes
Metalworking and machining terminology
