Overview
Seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Coordinator to support a dedicated client account. This role will focus on managing outbound shipments to approximately 18 retail store locations for a newly onboarded client. Because both the stores and their management teams are new, accuracy, communication, and organization are critical to success in this position.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for growth into a leadership role.
- Coordinate and manage daily shipments to 18 retail store locations
- Inspect, stage, and prepare orders for shipment
- Ensure all labeling is 100% accurate and compliant with client requirements
- Measure pallets and verify shipment specifications
- Communicate with logistics providers to:
- Schedule pickups
- Determine truck quantity requirements
- Maintain detailed and accurate shipment records in internal systems and Excel
- Troubleshoot shipping or labeling issues proactively
- Collaborate with internal teams and client contacts to ensure smooth operations
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in shipping coordination, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly with labeling and documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience overseeing or leading small teams (3–4 people) is a plus
- Flexible schedule required between 6:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Standard shifts are 8 hours within this window
- On shipping days, availability for the full operational window is required
