Overview
Onin Staffing is currently seeking dependable and detail-oriented Housekeepers for a hospitality client in Downers Grove, IL. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests by ensuring guest rooms and common areas meet established cleanliness standards.
Skills and Experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish towels and guest amenities.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect assigned areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Restock housekeeping carts and supplies as needed.
- Report maintenance concerns, damages, or safety hazards to management.
- Follow hotel cleanliness, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Ensure all assigned rooms are completed within established timeframes.
- Provide courteous and professional service while interacting with guests and coworkers.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude are required.
