Overview
The Kettle Department Associate is responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of Popcorn products in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work safely around hot equipment, and adherence to food safety and quality standards.
Skills and Experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook popcorn products according to company recipes and production guidelines.
- Operate kettles, mixers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Measure and handle ingredients accurately.
- Monitor product quality to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Follow all food safety, GMP, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory, stocking supplies, and other production-related tasks as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous food production, kitchen, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Able to lift up to 35–50 pounds as needed.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Comfortable working in a hot environment around cooking equipment.
