What You'll Do as a Production Packaging Associate:
- Measure finished materials to verify they meet the required lengths before packaging.
- Cut wooden supports to size using a 10-inch miter saw.
- Build secure packaging for finished products using wood and handheld strapping tools.
- Prepare products for safe storage and shipment.
- Keep the work area clean by removing sawdust and maintaining an organized workspace.
- Assist with warehouse operations and support teammates as needed.
- Follow all quality, safety, and production standards throughout the shift.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Experience safely operating a 10-inch miter saw.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16-inch.
- Basic English reading skills to understand work orders, labels, and product tags.
- Comfortable using hand tools such as metal cutters and manual strapping equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout the workday.
- Ability to stand and remain active during an 8-hour shift.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
