Overview
Performs cycle counts on all parts and locations within the warehouse.
Skills and Experience
- Conducting cycle counts in order to achieve a consistently accurate inventory system
- Assisting in the research of inventory inaccuracies to determine root cause
- Completing appropriate documentation as needed for certain processes
- Assuming a primary role during physical inventories
- Reassigning product on shelving, as instructed by Inventory Control Coordinator, in order to achieve a more efficient picking operation
- Operating lift truck or manual pallet jack to move and hoist products from one area to another
- Breaking down and properly disposing of packaging materials
- Keeping work area and facility clean, neat, and organized at all times
- Utilizing appropriate tools and equipment as needed for all responsibilities
- Reliable attendance is a must

- Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Safety and Security - Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, regulations, and strategies to promote a safe environment.
- Basic Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Basic Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Basic Skills - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer Skills -Basic computer skills, interactions with Warehouse Management System
- Other Knowledge - Ability to navigate through Windows. Ability to use RF scanners.
- HS Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience
- Forklift certification as needed
