Overview
Essential Functions:
Operates lift truck and performs duties to keep machine operators supplied with materials and moves finished goods to warehouse hold area.
Weighs and records scrap.
Performs clean-up duties to provide good housekeeping.
Assures that lift trucks are in good working order. Reports defects and wear.
Combine and consolidate raw materials and bank items to reduce the amount of WIP on hand.
Requires some minimal lifting of raw materials and bank items.
Completes daily “squawk” sheet.
Skills and Experience
Experience: 3 - 6 months with Forklift and Clamp Truck
Basic math skills to properly weigh and record scrap
Skills:Visual acuity essential for safety reasons
Special Requirements: Requires licensing, knowledge and practice of lift truck safety regulations and regular mandatory training Continuously gets on and off of truck; full use of extremities
