Overview
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and supporting inventory control processes throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
Skills and Experience
Responsibilities
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and identify inventory discrepancies.
- Investigate root causes of inventory variances and help implement corrective actions.
- Analyze inventory reports and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Label, tag, and organize inventory within designated storage locations.
- Prepare inventory balance and variance reports as needed.
- Coordinate with warehouse, production, and other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Provide excellent internal customer service and support.
- Follow company policies and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous inventory control, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
