What You'll Do as a Material Handler:
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move and distribute materials
- Pull, stock, and organize inventory using requisitions and checklists
- Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Process returned items and track material requests
- Work with production teams to ensure a smooth material flow
- Utilize inventory tracking systems to make inquiries and update records
- Handle component prepping, kitting, and material staging for production
Skills and Experience
The Preferred Candidate Will Bring:
- 1-2 years of material handling experience with forklifts & pallet jacks (Forklift/Powered Industrial Truck certification a plus)
- A valid Driver License and ability to pass PIT certification
- Ability to read color-coding, schematics, and safety signs
- Experience with cycle counting, kitting, and inventory management
- Basic computer, inventory system, and data entry skills
- Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs., stand for long periods, and work independently
