What You’ll Do as a Human Resources Generalist:
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system through accurate data entry, validation, and auditing. 
  • Process personnel actions including new hires, rehires, transfers, terminations, job changes, and employee information updates. 
  • Partner with Payroll, Benefits, and Recruiting teams to ensure accurate and timely employee data processing. 
  • Resolve employee data issues and discrepancies in collaboration with internal departments. 
  • Work with HR leadership and supervisors to ensure employee records align with company policies. 
  • Conduct data audits and validations to maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance. 
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies through root cause analysis. 
  • Collaborate with IT and system administrators to troubleshoot HRIS-related issues. 
  • Support HRIS system upgrades, testing, and implementation activities. 
  • Generate, review, and analyze reports to support HR leadership and ensure policy compliance. 
  • Assist with Form I-9 completion, E-Verify processing, compliance requirements, and audit activities. 
  • Process employee separation notices and related documentation. 
  • Complete employment verification requests and respond to inquiries regarding current and former employees. 
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of personnel records and sensitive employee information. 
  • Assist with cross-functional HR projects and initiatives as assigned. 
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings, training sessions, and seminars as required. 
  • Perform additional HR and administrative duties as assigned. 

Skills and Experience

What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. 
  • Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience. 
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS systems required; Oracle experience preferred. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and charts), Outlook, Windows, Internet applications, and other relevant software. 
  • Ability to adapt to new and changing computer systems. 
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment. 
  • Strong knowledge of general office procedures and techniques. 
  • Commitment to continuously updating and improving skills. 
  • Excellent typing and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, composition, editing, and proofreading. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
