What You’ll Do as a Production Team Lead:
- Lead and support production team members to achieve safety, quality, and production goals
- Monitor and improve production line performance and efficiency
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs when needed
- Coordinate production schedules and priorities to meet customer demand
- Perform changeovers and support preventive maintenance activities
- Track and report production, quality, and safety metrics
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and work instructions
- Train and coach operators to improve performance and productivity
- Manage non-conforming materials and support quality initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing efforts
- Communicate effectively across departments and shifts to ensure smooth operations
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience
- Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience
- Mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge
- Experience working with production equipment and assembly processes
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Understanding of quality systems and safety practices
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
