AP/AR & Inside Sales Coordinator

Overview

Our client  is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized AP/AR & Inside Sales Coordinator to support both accounting and sales operations. This role combines accounts payable/receivable responsibilities with inside sales coordination to ensure smooth financial processes and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable:

  •  Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner 
  •  Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for verification 
  •  Prepare and process payments to vendors 
  •  Post customer payments and maintain accurate AR records 
  •  Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts 
  •  Reconcile statements and resolve billing discrepancies 
  •  Assist with month-end closing and reporting tasks 
Inside Sales Coordination:

  •  Handle inbound customer calls and emails for quotes, orders, and product inquiries 
  •  Prepare and process customer quotes and sales orders 
  •  Communicate with customers regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules 
  •  Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment 
  •  Maintain accurate customer records and order history in the system 
  •  Provide excellent customer service and support long-term client relationships 
  •  Assist outside sales team as needed

Skills and Experience

Qualifications:

  •  Previous experience in AP/AR, accounting, or inside sales preferred 
  •  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  •  Excellent communication and customer service skills 
  •  Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  •  Proficiency with basic accounting systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) 
  •  Lumber or construction materials industry experience is a plus 
Work Environment:
Office-based role supporting both accounting and sales operations within a fast-paced lumber distribution environment.
