Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join our team on a part-time weekend schedule. This position is responsible for laundry operations as well as maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the facility. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping work areas clean and organized.
Skills and Experience
Schedule: Weekends Only - Saturday and Sunday 7:00AM-2:00PM
Pay: $12/hr.
Essential Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Friendly, respectful, and customer-service oriented attitude required.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry items.
- Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Clean restrooms other common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces throughout the facility.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
- Report maintenance concerns or supply shortages to management. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds throughout the shift.
- Must have good personal hygiene and present a clean, professional appearance.
