Ōnin Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Aluminum TIG Welder/Fabricator for a great opportunity in the Broussard area. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented teammate with strong fabrication knowledge and hands-on welding experience.
Job Duties:
- Perform Aluminum TIG welding on various metal components
- Fabricate and assemble parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Measure, cut, grind, and fit materials for production
- Inspect completed welds for strength and quality
- Operate fabrication tools and welding equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all shop safety procedures and production deadlines
Skills and Experience
Skills Needed:
- Strong Aluminum TIG welding skills
- Fabrication and metal fitting experience
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Experience using grinders, saws, and hand tools
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2+ years of Aluminum TIG welding experience preferred
- Previous fabrication/shop experience required
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
Schedule:
- Full-time position
- Overtime available depending on workload and production
