Overview
Ōnin Staffing is currently hiring a Loading Dock Supervisor for a busy rice mill facility. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career with growth potential in a fast-paced industrial environment. We are looking for a strong leader who can oversee daily operations, manage employees, and help keep production and shipping running efficiently.
Job Duties
- Supervise daily loading dock operations
- Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments
- Coordinate loading/unloading of trucks and railcars
- Lead and manage dock employees throughout daily operations
- Ensure productivity, safety, and workflow expectations are met
- Verify shipping paperwork, inventory, and load accuracy
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Skills and Experience
Experience & Skills
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience required
- Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, loading dock, or industrial operations preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee multiple employees and daily operations
- Forklift experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Safety-focused, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors as needed
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time position
- Starting pay is $14–$15/hr based on experience
- Opportunity for growth up to $19/hr
- Overtime may be available
