What you'll do as: Machine Operator
• Set up and operate roll forming machines to produce metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production schedules.
• Measure materials and finished products using a tape measure and other measuring tools.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements.
• Perform machine changeovers and tooling adjustments.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major repairs to maintenance.
• Operate sit-down forklifts to move finished products throughout the facility.
• Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals.
Skills and Experience
Preferred Candidate Might:
- Previous roll forming machine operator experience preferred.
- Manufacturing or production experience required.
- Sit-down forklift experience required.
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
- Experience performing machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime as needed.
