Overview
Ōnin Staffing is currently seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for a growing manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a passion for keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair engines, motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using testing and measuring instruments
- Dismantle equipment and replace defective parts
- Fabricate and repair parts using shop tools and equipment
- Assist with reducing downtime through routine maintenance and communication with production teams
- Maintain inventory of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies
- Document repairs, maintenance activities, and ongoing equipment needs
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Support team operations and assist with additional duties as needed
Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician preferred
- Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience using hand tools and troubleshooting industrial equipment
- Preventative and predictive maintenance knowledge required
- Basic multi-meter skills
- PLC experience is a plus
- Basic welding and fabrication experience preferred (MIG/TIG)
- Ability to wire a 480V motor preferred
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Requirements
- 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on season
- Strong attendance and reliability required
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
