Overview
Our client is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Clerk to support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in receiving, shipping, handling inbound and outbound freight/cargo, inventory control, and basic computer systems. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring timely shipment of industrial and supply products. Our client operates extensive warehouse and distribution services supporting industrial, mining, and construction customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect inbound shipments for accuracy and damage
- Process outbound shipments and prepare orders for delivery or freight pickup
- Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment safely
- Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse documentation
- Enter shipping, receiving, and inventory data into computer systems
- Pull, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
- Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and warehouse personnel
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow company safety procedures and shipping regulations
Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred
- Experience handling inbound and outbound cargo/freight required
- Basic computer skills including data entry, email, and inventory software
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
