Overview
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the warehouse. This role supports daily operations by ensuring all assigned areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize warehouse areas, including break rooms, restrooms, offices, and common spaces
- Sweep, mop, and remove debris from floors and work areas
- Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and other restroom/cleaning materials
- Maintain cleanliness of high-traffic and safety-sensitive areas
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company sanitation procedures
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
- Assist with additional cleaning tasks as assigned
Skills and Experience
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during shift
- Prior cleaning or warehouse experience preferred but not required
Work Environment:
Fast-paced warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and physical activity.
