Onin Staffing in Smyrna,TN is looking for experienced Laser Operators to join our production team in La Vergne, TN. If you’re mechanically skilled, detail-oriented, and ready to work with a company that values quality and teamwork—this is your next move.
What You’ll Do:
- Set up and operate laser cutting machines to produce high-quality metal parts
- Read blueprints and perform first & last piece inspections
- Troubleshoot equipment and assist Maintenance with repairs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled
- Support production goals and take on additional duties as needed
- May work overtime or alternate shifts based on production needs
Skills and Experience
- Experience in metal fabrication (laser operation preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints confidently
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of GD&T is a plus
- Computer skills a bonus
