Overview
The Auto-Bagger Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring automatic bagging equipment in a
poultry processing and portioning facility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that poultry products are
efficiently and correctly packaged in compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Skills and Experience
Job Requirements:
- Must be comfortable with working in a fast-paced manufacturing/production environment.
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must pass our orientation class.
- Must be legally eligible to work in accordance with federal and state law.
- Must have dependable transportation to and from DG Food facilities, no exceptions.
- Must be able to work various hours/holidays/weekends as required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs.
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Exposure to cold temperatures (33°F–40°F).
- Fast-paced production line environment.
- Noise levels may be high; hearing protection is provided
- Requires standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions.
