Tarp Production Associate / Material Prep

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Measure, mark, and cut tarp materials according to customer orders
Shape materials and place them on sewing tables
Ensure all necessary tools (knife, tape measure, etc.) are available and in use
Transport tarps to sewing stations
Complete shipping paperwork for finished products
Follow all safety procedures and properly handle materials
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Basic reading, writing, and math skills
Ability to read a tape measure and follow written instructions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow verbal and hands-on instructions
Preferred Skills
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Forklift experience (or willingness to learn)
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 30 lbs regularly and over 50 lbs with assistance
Frequent bending, stooping, stretching, twisting, and lifting
Ability to stand and work for extended periods
Good vision to ensure accurate measurements and quality
Work Environment
Manufacturing setting with exposure to:
Moving equipment and machinery
Heat, noise, and non-climate-controlled conditions
Chemicals, solvents, and airborne particles (with proper safety procedures)
Required use of appropriate protective clothing and equipment
