Inventory Specialist / Warehouse Technician
Location: CENTENNIAL
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: 8 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Specialist / Warehouse Technician to support daily warehouse and inventory operations. This role is critical in ensuring accurate inventory tracking, efficient shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse environment.
You’ll work cross-functionally with production, logistics, and procurement teams while using warehouse systems and equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Logistics
- Perform daily cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments with accuracy and care
- Pick, pack, and palletize orders for shipment
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and update inventory systems
- Conduct inventory movements including labeling, repackaging, and stocking
- Coordinate ground and freight shipments (UPS WorldShip, Unishippers, etc.)
Shipping, Receiving & Assembly
- Assemble products and complete work orders as needed
- Manifest outgoing shipments and print packing slips
- Unload trucks and verify incoming freight quality
- Make occasional local deliveries (if applicable)
Systems & Data Management
- Utilize RF scanners, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and ERP systems
- Maintain accurate inventory records and transactions in software
- Use Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and analysis
- Review dashboards and update inventory data daily
Quality Control & Safety
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing products
- Support QA protocols and ensure compliance with GMP/cGMP standards (if applicable)
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Skills and Experience
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience
- Experience in a detail-oriented or regulated environment preferred
- Proficiency with RF scanners and inventory/ERP systems
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (including refrigerated areas if needed)
- Valid Driver’s License (for delivery duties if applicable)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification (Sit-down and/or Reach Truck)
- Experience with UPS WorldShip, Unishippers, or NetSuite ERP
- Inventory management experience
- Experience with assembly or light manufacturing
- Box truck driving experience (a plus)
