Overview
We are currently hiring a dependable and hardworking Furniture Warehouse Associate / Delivery Helper to join our team! This position offers a mix of warehouse work and customer-facing delivery support, making it perfect for someone who enjoys staying active and working with people.
📍 Location: Baton Rouge
💲 Pay: $12.00/hour
⏰ Hours: 35–40 hours per week
✨ What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assemble furniture in the warehouse
- Load and unload furniture for deliveries
- Assist drivers with delivering furniture to customers’ homes
- Interact with customers in-store and during deliveries, providing excellent service
- Help set up or place furniture in customers’ homes as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Perform general maintenance and cleanup duties
Skills and Experience
- Previous warehouse, delivery, or general labor experience preferred (not required)
- Customer service or customer-facing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy furniture (team lifting required)
- Comfortable working in both warehouse and residential delivery environments
- Basic assembly skills or experience using hand tools is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude
- Dependable with good attendance and time management
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks—training provided
