We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Duncan, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our high-volume recycling facility. From industrial balers and conveyors to advanced sorting systems, you will play a critical role in keeping our operations running smoothly as we work toward a more sustainable future.

What You’ll Do as a Maintenance Technician:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance (PMs) on industrial machinery including conveyors, hydraulic balers, optical sorters, and shredders.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Respond quickly to emergency equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and parts inventory.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and facility upgrades.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly adhering to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA safety standards.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2+ years’ experience with mechanical and maintenance duties
- Hands-on skills and attitude
- General knowledge of electrical prints, pneumatic pumps and hydraulic systems.
- Be able to weld- stick and wire feed welder.
- Multi-tasking, interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and time management skills are needed.
- Ability to work in varying climates and conditions
- Willing to uphold safety and operational excellence policies
- Follow all company safety guidelines.
- Basic computer skills (Data Entry)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to add, subtract, & multiply
- Able to work extended work hours and weekends, as needed
- Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary
- Willing to travel and work away from home when and if required
- Must have own tools and be able to bring and use on the job.
