Overview
We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating press machines, performing basic welding, and working in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to maintain consistent production quality.
Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, including press machines
- Perform basic welding tasks as required
- Set up machines, adjust settings, and ensure proper operation
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Meet daily production targets and deadlines
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating press machines
- Basic welding skills
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift as needed
