About the Opportunity

We are hiring an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations within a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and team performance across molding and assembly operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands how to run a production floor, develop teams, and continuously improve processes — ideally with some exposure to automotive manufacturing or Tier 1/Tier 2 supplier environments.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  •  Lead daily manufacturing operations across production lines (molding & assembly) 
  •  Drive performance across key metrics: OEE, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery
  •  Build and maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all plant policies 
  •  Lead, coach, and develop production teams (training, performance, engagement) 
  •  Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
  •  Identify and execute opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and eliminate waste
  •  Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to support production goals 
  •  Manage department budgets, staffing, and operational planning 
  •  Support audits, process improvements, and implementation of engineering changes

Skills and Experience

What We’re Looking For

  •  5–10+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environments
  •  3+ years of leadership experience (Supervisor, Manager, or similar) 
  •  Strong understanding of production operations, equipment, and workflow
  •  Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement
  •  Knowledge of manufacturing KPIs (OEE, OTIF, efficiency, etc.)
  • Automotive manufacturing experience or exposure (OEM, Tier 1, or Tier 2) strongly preferred
    •  This could include working with automotive parts, quality standards, or production environments 
  •  Background in regulated or high-volume production environments is a plus 
  •  Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills 
  •  Experience with SAP, Excel, or production reporting systems preferred
