Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual for a General Warehouse Assembly position. This role involves assembly work and requires precision, consistency, and the ability to follow instructions.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Assembly
- Machine Operation: Load/unload parts into machines and monitor temperature, pressure, and finishing settings to convert raw fasteners.
- Manual Assembly: Use hand tools to assemble components and complete parts processing.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products and perform basic checks to ensure all items meet strict quality standards.
Kitting & Packaging
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately count, bag, and seal kits of nuts, bolts, and screws.
- Labeling & Shipping: Label packages correctly and prep completed batches for final shipping.
- Basic Computer Skills: Perform basic computer tasks to track production numbers and maintain inventory accuracy.
Safety & Maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols regarding machinery and warehouse equipment.
Skills and Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of assembly experience and proficiency with hand tools.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer skills for production entry and tracking.
- Reliability: Proven track record of good attendance and access to reliable transportation.
- Attention to Detail: Must be highly precise when counting small parts and monitoring machine gauges.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, bend, stoop, and stand for 8–10 hours a day.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
Safety: Steel Toe Boots or shoes are strictly required.
