Overview
We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Maintenance Workers to support the upkeep and appearance of our clients facilities. This role involves routine cleaning, basic painting, and performing general maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment.
Pay: $14.00
Shift: Mon-Fri
Location: Mile 13
Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces
- Conduct basic painting tasks such as surface preparation, touch-ups, and full-area painting as needed
- Carry out minor maintenance and repair work (e.g., fixing fixtures, replacing light bulbs, basic plumbing or carpentry tasks)
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify issues and report needed repairs
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper use and storage
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
- Assist with moving furniture, equipment, or materials as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of painting techniques and general repair work
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Working Conditions:
- May require working indoors and outdoors
- Physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
- Use of cleaning chemicals and maintenance tools
