Position: Crane Operator

Ōnin Staffing is seeking an experienced Crane Operator for a client in the Albuquerque area. This full-time position is ideal for a safety-focused, dependable professional with equipment operation experience in an industrial or operations environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate assigned equipment to transfer materials during unloading, loading, processing, and storage
- Operate a material handler or similar equipment to lift, move, and position materials
- Load and unload materials from designated vehicles, including trailers and railcars
- Perform routine pre- and post-inspections on equipment and report any issues to a supervisor
- Report any damage to company property, including trailers and equipment
- Prepare material for weighing and accurately record weights and other product information on labels, tags, or related documents
- Complete paperwork, tally sheets, and reports accurately, legibly, and on time
- Prepare materials and loads properly for shipment
- Attend and complete operator training and certification as requested
- Use various attachments with material handling equipment, including slings, electromagnets, grapples, and other devices
- Stay aware of the surrounding work environment to ensure safe equipment operation around people and machinery
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or department manager
Skills and Experience
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Minimum 3 years of crane operator experience required
- Must be able to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Must be able to complete inspections, paperwork, and production records accurately
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds
- Must be able to walk, sit, stand, bend, climb stairs, and move continuously throughout the workday
- Must be available to work full-time and weekends as needed
Schedule
- Full-time
- 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
- Weekend work as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous machine operator experience is a plus
