Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Facilities Maintenance to maintain cleanliness and safety within our warehouse facility. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment for employees, visitors, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain warehouse floors by sweeping, mopping, and operating floor scrubbers.
- Remove trash, recycling, and debris from designated areas and dispose of properly.
- Clean restrooms, break rooms, and office spaces, ensuring sanitation standards are met.
- Reclean and sanitize high-traffic and high-touch areas throughout the facility.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and sanitation materials.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with basic facility upkeep tasks such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs.
- Support warehouse operations by maintaining clean aisles and workspaces.
- Respond to urgent cleaning needs such as spills or safety hazards promptly.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial or warehouse cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in a warehouse environment (varying temperatures, noise levels).
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals is a plus.
