Overview
The Food Box Packer is responsible for accurately packing food boxes according to company standards. This role ensures that all food products are handled safely, packaged correctly, and prepared for shipment in a timely manner while maintaining cleanliness and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack, and seal food boxes according to order requirements
- Verify correct items and quantities before packaging
- Inspect food products for quality, freshness, and damage
- Label boxes properly and prepare them for shipping or distribution
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Meet daily production and accuracy goals
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow
- Report any damaged products, shortages, or equipment issues
Skills and Experience
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse, packing, or food handling experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work well as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move boxes (up to 20 lbs, as applicable)
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment
