Overview
We are seeking a reliable Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, unload, stack, and organize materials or products within the facility. You will follow supervisor instructions, complete required documentation, and ensure all tasks are performed with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency. This position requires regular lifting, bending, squatting, and standing throughout the shift, as well as assisting with other warehouse duties as needed.
Skills and Experience
Skills:
- Safe forklift operation and warehouse equipment handling
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and OSHA standards
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team
- Basic documentation and record-keeping skills
- Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, squatting, and standing
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of forklift driving experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of safely operating forklifts and handling materials efficiently
- Experience with loading/unloading trucks, staging materials, and inventory organization
