Ōnin Staffing is hiring a Commercial Door Fabricator for one of our clients in the Albuquerque area. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and enjoys hands-on work in a manufacturing or production environment.
The Commercial Door Fabricator will be responsible for building, assembling, and preparing commercial doors to meet quality and production standards. The right candidate will be dependable, able to read measurements accurately, and comfortable using hand and power tools.
Position Summary
The Commercial Door Fabricator will assist in the fabrication and assembly of commercial doors, ensuring all products are built to specifications and ready for installation or shipment. This role requires accuracy, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble commercial doors according to work orders and specifications
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials for production
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Install door components, hardware, labels, and other required materials
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with other production or warehouse duties as needed
Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- Previous fabrication, manufacturing, assembly, or construction experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy materials as needed
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
