Overview
Ōnin Staffing is hiring for a Final QC and Shipping Teammate for one of our clients in the Albuquerque area. This position combines several final quality control and shipping duties into one important role. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a hands-on production and shipping environment.
Position Summary
The Final QC and Shipping Teammate will be responsible for inspecting finished product before shipment, preparing materials for delivery, and ensuring all outgoing orders are accurate, properly labeled, and ready to ship. This role is essential to maintaining quality standards and smooth shipping operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform final quality control checks on finished products before shipment
- Verify overall product quality, material quantities, required labels, and any loose items
- Record arrival and departure times of all brokerage trucks on the Bill of Lading
- Confirm quantities of material loaded after each shipment
- Install final add-on products, including:
- Riveted fire labels
- Adhesive shipping labels
- Screw-in top caps
- Build pallets and crates for shipping
- Stack and wrap finished products on pallets to prepare for shipment
- Make local deliveries using a small delivery truck
- Help ensure all outgoing shipments are accurate, secure, and properly documented
Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Comfortable in a warehouse, manufacturing, or shipping environment
- Ability to lift, stack, wrap, and prepare products for shipment
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license may be required for local deliveries
