Overview
The Dock Worker supports daily warehouse and event operations by loading, unloading, staging, and organizing rental equipment. This role is fast‑paced and hands‑on, ideal for someone who can move efficiently, follow instructions, and maintain accuracy with inventory.
Skills and Experience
- Load and unload event rental equipment (tables, chairs, tents, décor, staging, linens, etc.) from trucks.
- Prep outgoing orders by pulling, staging, and checking items against packing lists.
- Receive returning equipment, inspect for damage, and sort items into proper areas.
- Assist drivers with dock operations and ensure quick, safe turnaround times.
- Keep the dock area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow warehouse leads’ instructions and support general warehouse tasks as needed.
- Use pallet jacks, carts, and other equipment safely (training provided if needed).
